Hot Cams Titanium Intake Valves are crafted from a titanium alloy and forged from a single blank with improved grain flow to enhance the mechanical characteristics of the valve without welding. An induction hardened valve stem tip and precision machined valve head and seat surfaces enhance durability and performance. Special PVD and CVD processes leave a (Chromium Nitride) CrN coating that provides high micro-hardness and low friction surfaces for reduced heat generation and carbon build-up. The titanium is coated to an ultra-smooth surface while reaching hardness levels five times greater than high speed steel. These features all contribute to a valve that endures the harshest racing conditions, while being compatible with OEM components.
